Biography
Laurent Pouvaret (1965) is a French animator, director and producer. He studied graphic design and animated film at Émila Cohla art school in Lyon. He worked briefly at studio Folimage, later studying at the French school Casa de Velázquez in Madrid. He currently teaches at the La Poudrière school of animation in Valencia. From his animated works we'll mention Scrap Metal (Ferrailles, 1997) and The Microsillon Song (La canción du microsillon, 2003).
