English Gamera: The Giant Monster is a film from 1965 that will transport you back about ten years in time. It's somewhat less polished in some aspects compared to the films from Toho Studio of that time, but in other aspects, especially in special effects, it's more so. Gamera is an excellent monster with several impressive abilities that both awe and sometimes amuse at the same time. I'm quite curious to see more movies with this overgrown turtle. ()
