English The only one of all the Asterix films that is a quality adaptation of a storybook adventure. Smart, yet understandable humour, this time spiced with a pinch of English dry humour. ()

English Traditional animated adventure based on the 1966 album "Asterix in Britain". Or Asterix, Obelix, Idefix, Astrix and a keg of magic drink on the go. It's nice, it's fine. The Brits can't cook, the Celts are all cousins and that's that :) ()

English Another one of my favorite Asterix films, mainly because they beautifully poke fun at the Britons throughout the whole movie. It's funny, it breaks stereotypes, and moreover, it still has a story where the Romans fit in nicely, and the whole narrative is essentially a celebration of food and drink, even if it might be a celebration in a somewhat negative sense of the word. English Fantastic! This is exactly what true animated entertainment should look like. If the poor Gauls had any idea how the Brits can spoil even a delicious boar, they would not have gone to their aid at all. Fortunately, they didn't and I was able to witness not only a series of unforgettable catchphrases and fights, but even the toughest rugby match in history, which I will truly never forget. ()

English I don't know why, but if I had watched this five years ago, I'd have been full of glee. But it's worn off over the years. Unfortunately, all I see now is an average film that doesn't really stand out. It's great for Asterix fans, but for me, it's just a bland cartoon. On the other hand, I have to say I liked the ancient London (the almost wooden Big Ben and Tower Bridge) and the elegant insertion of tea as the national drink of England was also not the worst idea.
