English She’s All That, the original is a rather (below-)average American romantic comedy with an interesting but shallowly developed theme. This is also true of the "gender-swapping" remake He’s All That, which is in the spirit of the (digital) age of Tik-Tok and followers, but at the same time does not try to add any value. The characters and their performers are universally bland, but I was glad for the smaller but distinctive roles for the actors from the original film. Since you know how the film will turn out – without even actually knowing the original – you can at least let yourself ride the wave of nostalgia. ()

English Let's start with the positives — there aren't many, but they're the reason I wouldn't call this movie a complete waste of time, even though I gave it two stars. First, Tanner Buchanan. I've liked him since Cobra Kai, and he didn't disappoint here. Second, the ending, where the school principal suddenly starts delivering one hilarious line after another. It's pretty wild to watch a painfully unfunny comedy only to be won over by one actor at the very end. Overall, though, this is just another run-of-the-mill rom-com that reminds me how out of touch I’m getting with today's youth. The final scene with the DJ? Spot on. It’s like the principal was speaking my mind. ()
