Olympia Part Two: Festival of Beauty

What cannot be taken away from the film is the fact that it doesn't attempt to promote German athletes but instead showcases competitions where various nations emerge victorious, with Americans notably featuring prominently. The documentary is amazing from a historical perspective as well. It shows how Germany was highly enthusiastic (possibly due to propaganda), but it's also fascinating to see the evolution of various sports disciplines. This film focuses on a broader range of sports, not just athletics, and it's equally as interesting as the first film. (08/22/2014)
