Špunti na cestě

I really enjoyed River Rascals, which is why I was excited about this series. The impressive cast was another reason to look forward to it. But the result? It’s bland, unremarkable, and at times, not even funny. It seems to target a younger audience rather than adults, but I’m not sure if it will resonate with them or hold their interest. It didn’t do much for me. Some storylines felt completely off, making the series come across as a bit of a B-grade effort. However, the one thing this series absolutely nails is the unmistakable atmosphere of summer evenings — the kind I eagerly look forward to every year after winter. If nothing else, it reminded me of how nice it is to be by the pond in the summer. (04/04/2022)
