Given that I have seen a few Turkish crime films already, this film actually didn't surprise me at all. It's not as bad as someone writes here. It's very peculiar, but that's the whole Turkish cinematography and it needs to be accepted. On the contrary, I must say that The Hatred was quite decent and rough detective story that relies on emotions and an original Turkish environment coming to the viewer through a well-done camera work.
