Absurdity is not foreign to Scandinavians. Fredrik Backman works with it in his books and filmmakers in Sweden eagerly embrace it like a breakthrough. The anxieties may be a weaker adaptation of his books, but for their short length and quick pace, they are not a waste of time. Such a Swedish classic. ()
