When Taika Waititi is written somewhere today, you already assume that it will be good...and funny. But it may not always completely suit you. For example, I didn't really enjoy Vlajka smrti. The first episodes are rather average, you don't laugh much, and the environment looks very artificial. Then Černovous appears on the scene, which Taika enjoys, and the series finally gains some momentum...and humor. In the end, it still won't convince you to enjoy it like other series. It's definitely a relaxing series, but definitely not a legend.

An amazing series from the first to the (hopefully only temporarily) last episode. It may not have been as funny in the end as it first seemed, but that doesn't mean I didn't have a great time. On the contrary, I wasn't expecting how the series would go on a more dramatic level, where it would lead and how beautiful it would be. Everything was perfectly balanced, thanks of course to the actors, especially Rhys Darby (my new hero, a combination of Martin Freeman and Rowan Atkinson) and the absolutely perfect Taika Waititi.
