All Hail

This charming Argentine comedy won’t have you laughing out loud, but it’s a pleasant watch. The main character, a meteorologist played by the charismatic Guillermo Francella, hasn’t missed a forecast in 20 years — until he does. And, of course, that one mistake has big consequences, costing him his job on TV. The filmmakers take their time, letting the beautiful scenery and the essence of the story shine. The ending caught me by surprise, but in a good way. It’s a bit absurd at times, a bit funny, but overall, it’s a relaxing and sweet film. (04/04/2022)
