Compared to the first season, this is quite a change, especially in terms of animation, and I cannot decide if I like it. Also, it seems that the ratio between the comedy and the action is shifting more in favor of the action. I only laughed once during the first three episodes, and that is actually quite little for Reikenzan series as I know it from last time. It has an interesting narrative, and the characters remained more or less the same, although I did not get the same intense feeling of the main male protagonist being such a cheerful bugger as before. The subtitles are still coming out late, and again I have failed to get a decent version, so my patience is being intensely tried, just like last year. As a result, I think it is weaker than the first season, even though it is not so drastically worse that it should get less than three stars. 5.2/10 ()
