English When I first watched the initial episode years ago, I never imagined that the project would evolve into a full trilogy with much of the original team staying on board, and that I'd be so impressed by the end of it all. While the episodic structure might be a bit of a hurdle, it works well enough for a TV movie format. If you're interested in the era of Maria Theresa, including her personal journey, I doubt you'll find a better on-screen portrayal. The third actress to play Marie did an outstanding job, but I was especially blown away by Vojtěch Kotek — he's truly become a remarkable actor, hats off to him. The ending was so powerful it gave me goosebumps, something I haven't experienced with Czech productions in a long time. Kudos to Czech Television for delivering a beautiful period drama, complete with stunning cinematography, gorgeous castle settings, impeccable costumes, and stellar performances. It's clear a lot of care went into this series, and it absolutely deserves to be recognized. ()

English The conclusion of Maria Theresa's biography. It is clear that the whole film was supposed to be a two-part film. The story of the young Marie Antoinette turned out beyond expectations. ()
