When you love Stargate (and in this case Atlantis), you must be excited to see your favorite actor, who plays Rodney MacKay, appear on the scene. What's more, the whole story is about him. About the character of a selfish grave robber who would enter even a burrow for a piece of gold. Believe it or not. Strongly claustrophobic, well-executed for its time, atmospheric, and in the end, quite brutal and unexpected. ()
A claustrophobic experience with irresistibly black-humour moments that actually make the whole thing even more realistic. As in Cube, Natali's direction revels in the facial shots, especially the bulging eyes, and whether you know the original story or not, you won't mind knowing what's going on. It’s just fun. And that ending! ()
An unsurprising but entertaining horror tale of a classic cut, though I can imagine a chase with a reanimated corpse in narrow underground passages in a different, separate and far more horror-effective version. ()
