A beautiful miniseries that pays homage to the best period Westerns while adding its own unique flair. The stunning music, especially the opening theme, sets the tone, and the performances by Emily Blunt, Chaske Spencer, and the entire cast are fantastic. Each character has their own story to tell, making the series feel rich and full. However, the plot can be unnecessarily complicated and confusing at times, and some of the dialogues come off as overly philosophical and artistic. Visually, the cinematography is exquisite, with certain shots so breathtaking they deserve to be immortalized. Some scenes, like the photoshoot and the final scene in episode 5, are etched in my memory forever. Simply put, if you love cinema, you need to watch this series. (01/18/2023)
