English A milestone in the computer screen thriller genre and a unique masterpiece with an instant contender for Thriller of the Year. Searching was already a hit, but Missing enriches this subgenre even more and creates a clear cult-classic potential. Combine the best true crime documentaries from Netflix, give it a load of twists and turns with a touch of Oriol Paul, the uncomfortable and oppressive atmosphere of the best thrillers, all the apps of today's world and you'll come out with a tasty thriller cocktail that will make you shiver and hold your breath like never before. A young girl starts searching for her mother who hasn't returned from Colombia and starts an investigative and intelligent show that piles up one twist after another. Your theories will be twisted every 5 minutes, that's what I call a decent fuck you to the viewer, you don't see that kind of clever tug of war in Hollywood these days. Each new twist is more bizarre than the last (I was physically uncomfortable at times, imagining what was really going on). It oozes authenticity and you really get the feeling that this really happened, which is an excellent calling card. The main character's acting is very good and she handles the PC to a tee, so everything is spot on. The film also has an excellent pace, it manages to keep the viewer's attention to the maximum, the atmosphere is riveting and uncompromising, they don't coddle the viewer here (it's filmed in a style where they don't care if you faint or have a heart attack in the living room, they simply won't spare you). A film that, when it's over, immediately starts to resonate in your head and makes you want to watch it again to catch all the details and enjoy the experience even more. This year with Babylon and Creed 3 the strongest five star. 10/10. ()

English M-A-S-T-E-R-P-I-E-C-E!!!!! Following the example of Searching, Missing is just as excellent, or even twice as good, and this type of "computer screen thriller" is a breath of fresh air in its genre. From the opening investigation in the 15th minute, the film literally had me glued to my seat and didn't let go until the end. It's been a long time since I've been in a trance with a movie and forgotten to take in time and my surroundings and just fidgeted nervously in my chair rubbing my sweaty hands, but Missing pulled it off with complete ease and I can safely say that it's the most suspenseful two-hour movie in years. The work with the screens of the electronic devices is simply excellent and they make the most of it here, it's playful, original and unexpectedly engaging beyond what I originally expected. Simply, they play with the viewer and throw theories at them that change from minute to minute, no tension is spared, they manage to build a mysterious air around the whole disappearance, and when the film is about to hit action, it pulls out the physical stuffiness with ease, and in the finale everything fits together perfectly like a puzzle without a single dangling or illogical question mark. A paranoid, unpredictable and simply flawless thriller with no deaf spots, a good deal of creativity and plenty of hair pulled and nails bitten in the audience seats. Yeah, this made my week a hell of a lot better, and I'll have a screening again in a heartbeat. What's more, this will appeal to all types of viewers and all age groups, so grab everyone around you and get to the cinema! ()

English I just came back from the mystery screening, and I honestly didn’t even know this film was hitting theaters. When I noticed Chaganty (the director and writer of the successful and similarly styled Searching from 2018) listed as a producer in the opening credits, my interest shot up. Missing is built entirely around the integration of various social media and networks. I think it will appeal to a narrower audience because of its chosen format, but fortunately, I am part of that group. It feels like a breath of fresh air amidst all the classic and formulaic thrillers that flood us daily. The film maintains a decent pace, gradually turning up the heat as it progresses. The acting is also solid; the lead actress tackled her role bravely, delivering a great performance. The movie sometimes throws so many twists that your brain struggles to keep up. On the other hand, the creators didn’t drown in them (kudos for that) and always managed to handle them gracefully. The ending was, in a word, excellent. This is how you shock an audience. Other filmmakers should take notes. Just like Searching, it deserves a well-earned 8/10 from me. P.S. Don’t look up anything about the film beforehand :) ()
