Blazsek Mátyás, a photographer, and his daughter, Éva, live in the City Park. Blazsek moder-nises his business, trying to attract customers by acting as if he were a practical-minded staff photographer. He has the following idea: By creating a scene for what appears to be a minor accident, he takes a photograph of Dénes Miklós, inventor of the telescope, who has just returned from London, which would show him slip on a melon rind. Everything goes according to plan, and the young man, slipping as choreographed in advance, is photographed holding on to Blazsek Éva, his interviewer. The sensational photograph is published in the newspapers with the following caption: "Dénes Miklós and his fiancée". Although Dénes Miklós already has a wealthy fiancée, he decides to marry his young interviewer, despite his parents being opposed to the idea. (official distributor synopsis)
