English I didnt see that coming! A very unexpected out-of-nowhere gem that might not sophisticated and smart like similar Spanish series, but its "twistiness" is perhaps one of the greatest we've ever seen, it makes it go by solidly and I got through it almost in one go. A young woman captures her husband on live camera, but he had died a few months ago, starting a carousel of events that may look simple at first, but gradually packs in so much that you slowly fail to pick it up. In terms of acting and craftsmanship, it is fine (average) entertainment that doesn't surprise or stand out, but as far as the script is concerned, it is something to write about. I'm really not kidding when I say that in EVERY episode there are about ten new pieces of information and twists or little bits that don't quite make perfect sense, but each one of them works well on its own and gets the viewer's attention. Friends become enemies, characters and sins from the past resurface, and when I add in a cliffhanger at each ending that makes it impossible to stop watching the series, I come up with a very enticing, entertaining and suspenseful four-star affair that is just perfect fun at any given moment. Harlan Coben’s signature can be seen, and I hereby salute my favorite series, Safe, which in many ways is very similar and just as amazing as Fool Me Once. ()

English An enjoyable crime drama/thriller from Harlan Coben and this year's Netflix cannonade is incredible so far. We have the gorgeous Michelle Keegan playing an ex-soldier (I loved that she doesn't fuck with anyone) whose sister and husband have recently been murdered, plus her husband. However, after she sees her dead husband on a hidden camera, a decent carousel of events unfolds, supported by some nice twists and turns, and this whole crime has a much bigger scope, which I applaud. The characters are likeable, even the detective duo is cool, it has a decent pace thanks to well dosed information, I liked the music and surprisingly I enjoyed it more than I hoped before watching it. The final two episodes ratchet up the tension to the max and I have to say that I definitely didn't count on the killer being revealed and the final showdown, which is also very satisfying (albeit slightly shocking). It's not a masterpiece to remember like The Innocent, but it's very decent entertainment that won't offend fans of convoluted stories where you don't know the outcome until the last moment. 75% ()
