English I guess for sumo wrestling fans, this is a must, if only because there's nothing like it in the film world. But for the rest of us, the general audience, this is very much out of the question. So, when I add to the fact that I'm not entirely sure if I want to spend 7 hours on a series with 200-kilogram Japanese fat men rolling around, I'm a bit put off by the fact that it's Japan (meh) with a distinct soap opera feel, terrible dialogue, and an execution that is straight out of day-time drama. In short, the kind of thing you'll go into purely out of curiosity about the central motif, but in terms of filmmaking quality, it's really not that much fun anymore. I’m quitting after the first episode, leaving a meek two stars, and leave this series to the die-hard fans. ()
