English Zack Snyder must have gone definitively insane because he made not one, but two completely useless movies with nothing in them. The first one at least had a stupid recruitment of heroes, the second one is based on slow motion shots of farmers in a field and one poorly shot fight. You won't care who survives and who dies. You can't count how many slow motion shots Snyder crams in. You'll just sit and wonder where the filmmaker who was poised to be the new genre star after 300 has gone. It's a harrowing film. And slowed down most of the time. ()

English This movie feels like a Star Wars spin on a Soviet five-year plan, and it's honestly a mess. This is Snyder at his worst. The only saving grace is the villain, Ed Skrein, who fully embraces his role and is genuinely repulsive. Stealing grain from farmers in an epic sci-fi setting? That's a new low. And story-wise, it hasn’t moved an inch from the first film. ()

English Unfortunately, there has been no improvement. The second part follows a similar pattern: it's visually captivating, but with no effort put into characters and story. Just an empty shell. A soulless film. I'm all the more surprised that Zack Snyder is behind this, as I have a lot of respect for him as a director... But let's get back to the film. The dialogues seem to come from a random word generator. At times, it was unbearable to listen to, with constant talks about heroism, courage, and overcoming fear. Nothing else was addressed. Then there are the slow-motion scenes. Yes, it can be effective, I don't deny that, and I know Snyder has a knack for it, but really choosing this style for scenes of harvesting grain? Seriously? At least the action is decent, and some of the explosions are surprisingly impressive. But the overall impression is not significantly improved. In sum, it could have been a guilty pleasure action sci-fi B-movie, but Snyder buried it with that childish and, forgive me for saying, utterly stupid script. Literally. For me, it's a 4/10. ()

English About the same as the first part. The battle is maybe a bit better, because we have lightsabers in a bigger extent. The script is a big mess. The idea is there, but Zack Snyder can hold it with all the weird dialogue and nonsensical behavior of the checkerboard pieces. I want to see the uncensored version to see if anything interesting can be done with the material or if it is just bullshit. To be continued. P.S: There's still not enough of Anthony Hopkins' Jimmy out there. ()

English When you consider that Netflix canceled Season 3 of Mindhunter because it was too expensive and then put a lot more money this shit that looks like it was written by retarded A.I., it makes me really sad. The only reason I won't give it a Boo! rating is the fact that the VFX guys really worked their asses off and it shows, but otherwise I'd ask Zack Snyder to take a few years away from movies and Netflix to channel their funding into something meaningful. It almost seems like Snyder has some kompromat on the boss Netflix, otherwise I can't explain their marketing strategy. PS: I really like Djimon Hounsou and I'm sorry he has to be involved in something like this. ()
