English It wasn't bad. Jason Statham is rightly tough and calm again, in fights he is at home, the enemies fall like flies to the accompaniment of country music and the very original form of filming (some slow motion, blood, clarity, cool zoom and efficiency, although sometimes too contrived and not always fully believable, but it doesn't spoil the impression). I also loved the casino scene, but overall the film lacked more throttle, which doesn't allow me to go higher than average. Fans of Statham and simple entertainment should not be offended, though. 65%. ()

English Statham, Vegas and silverware. Not your regular Statham flick, which is quite refreshing. The scene with the garden shears terrifies men, but pleases women. There’s something for everyone here. Otherwise, this is about the dangers of gambling. A feelgood movie. ()

English A strangely twisted thing. You expect an experienced action tough guy like Simon West to make a role model out of Jason Statham, always the good ex-marine, and he turns out to be a gambling lover and a drunkard who knocks down one glass of vodka after another. It may be a pleasant diversion, but overall, it's not really worth it. There's not enough action, and too much talk, unfortunately, very often about nothing, as the script is full of unnecessary digressions and emphasizes characters that don't even need to be there. And the Guy Ritchie-style slow-motion scenes have no place at all. An affair that can easily be ignored by the fans of classic action movies. ()

English Jason Statham doesn't really deliver any amazing performance here, because for a long time it seems like there won't even be any action, but in the last half hour, something does happen after all. The attempt at psychology is almost laughable, just like the ending, which is a crazy happy ending, but I couldn't help it and I enjoyed it with the hero. ()
