Prioritize:
I had never heard of Gianna Nannini before, but her story is fascinating and tumultuous. Cinematically, though, it's pretty average, despite the fantastic performance by the lead actress. She’s also a charming singer, no doubt about that. However, the film felt too melodramatic for me, filled with scenes that seemed designed to artificially evoke emotions. It didn’t convince me, but perhaps it will resonate differently with Italian audiences.
