English I could easily rate the pilot episode three stars without feeling guilty about it. However, the intro reminded me a lot of the first season of the British series Blackadder, which I absolutely loved back in the day. While the Polish humor here was a bit weaker, I still had a great time. Adamczewski, who is sure to become the almost most famous John Paul in Polish history, had to deal with the typical challenges of the era, including reading encrypted messages without knowing cryptology. The humor varied in quality, but it worked for me. The three starving siblings had me laughing out loud, so yeah, it was a fun watch. "Nobody ever gave me anything for free in my life, I had to inherit everything myself." / Lesson learned: If you don't expect anything, you can't be disappointed. ()
