English "Think of it as the Japanese version of The Boys, but with super sentai instead of superheroes." One anonymous comment in an online discussion completely ruined the show for me. Such a strong comparison set unrealistic expectations and made me subconsciously compare the two series, preventing me from fully enjoying Go! Go! Loser Ranger!. It's a shame, really, because the premise isn't bad at all. There’s a parallel to The Boys with heroes putting on a show while being mostly awful behind the scenes. However, this series isn't nearly as thrilling, surprising, or intense. At times, I found myself losing interest, even during key battles between cadets. Our "Fighter D" finds himself in a situation where he has a goal but seems stuck in the middle of the conflict, making the viewer question whose side he's on. The answer is clear—he's on no one's side because no one is on his side (if you got that reference, you get a point). This fresh twist in anime storytelling occasionally yields interesting moments, but it hasn't hooked me or sparked any strong interest — it's just okay. I understand why many people like it, but it just doesn't click for me, especially when I keep comparing it to The Boys, which plays in a different league. The animation and music didn’t particularly grab me either — it’s just okay. None of the characters have really grown on me, and some I don't quite understand yet (Yumeko). So, for now, it's a 6/10.
