Kill Me If You Dare

I decided to dive into a Polish comedy today, but something went terribly wrong. The script. The Netflix description didn't promise the most original theme, but I went ahead anyway because I have a soft spot for Polish films. Unfortunately, this one just didn't hit the mark. The storyline was week and felt like a recycled plot we’ve seen many times in various languages and settings. The writer didn’t bring any new twists, which left the film feeling stale. The worst part for me was the numerous cringeworthy jokes that kept coming up, making it clear early on that this wouldn’t earn many stars from me. Initially, I considered giving it just one star, but I added a second one for the likable main duo. / Lessons learned 1: So-called best friends can often be a disaster for a romantic relationship.,  2: If you're broke, just open a thriving café.
