When Jiří Suchý had to close the theatre due to the pandemic, and faced an uncertain future, he looked to the past, partly to the national one, but presented from the purely personal narrative angle of a man who, although being a pacifist, has always worn uniforms, both in military quarters, on the stage, or in front of the camera.
