Plots(1)
George Melton (Harry Carey), Allan Chadwick (C. Aubrey Smith) and Michael O'Brien are three very wealthy, self-involved businessmen. Having only each other to spend Christmas Eve with, the men invite two perfect strangers to dinner: James Houston (Richard Carlson) and Jean Lawrence. Satisfied that they've played successful match-makers, the trio boards a plane for an important meeting. Unfortunately, the plane crashes and they arrive back at their mansion as ghosts, where they discover that James is making a mess of his new relationship. In order to earn a ticket to heaven, Melton, Chadwick and O'Brien set out to make things right on Earth by uniting the misguided young man and his lovely date once and for all.
