Alice is happily married to Sam living in what seems to be a story book lifestyle. But on Valentine's Eve, Alice receives a Valentine card anonymously sent by Sam's best friend Archie, who is quietly in love with her. Convinced that the note is from her husband, she sends an anonymous card to Sam who thinks it's from another woman. When Sam hides the card from Alice, she decides to test her husband's faithfulness by pretending to be a secret admirer. What starts off as a silly prank escalates into phone sex, anonymous meetings and a shocking revelation about her husband. (official distributor synopsis)
