A kind widower and his seven rambunctious children, facing financial ruin, turn to a witchcraft-wielding nanny to help get their household in order. (Netflix)
Reviews (2)
The kids, Colin Firth, and the late-Victorian stylings are oddly more annoying than similar attributes updated in Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang, yet both Nanny McPhee films are solid family entertainment.

Yet another one of those movies I've been somewhat avoiding, but Christmas turned out to be the perfect time to watch it. Emma Thompson is just fantastic, not only as an actress but also as a screenwriter. You can add to that the other excellent actors, with whom you'll enjoy this fairy-tale film. Entertaining and beautifully colorful, almost kitschy.
