Four years ago a strange meteorite crashed to earth carrying a powerful secret. Now journey to high-tech Larousse City where secrets are revealed as Ash, Pikachu, and the gang meet Tory -- a new friend who is afraid of Pokémon and their trainers. It's quite interesting to see a sci-fi element being introduced into Pokémon stories. It's nothing groundbreaking, but it does expand the entire Pokémon universe a bit more, and the film is at times conceived like an animated kaiju movie. True, the battles could have been a bit more intricate, but it's aimed at children, and I'm still confident that this can work as intended. Sentimentally overly sweet.
