John Wayne rides into a hotbed of intrigue involving a half-breed rustler (Earl Dwire), a crooked sheriff (Jack Rockwell) and a helpless heroine (Sheila Terry). Our hero triumphs, of course, but not before the villain has tried to abduct the heroine and the sheriff has gotten away with one or two "legal" murders. (Echo Bridge Entertainment)

If the music didn't keep repeating and if one didn't constantly feel like the scenery was exactly the same and the stories too, the film could probably be given a slightly better rating. That’s because at least here instead of Indians and American villains, there's a Mexican villain who is obviously the villain at first glance. The Mexicans must have been delighted.
