Distraught by the mistaken belief that he is responsible for his best friend's death, Sheriff John Higgins (John Wayne) turns in his badge and assumes the life of a gold prospector. But in a turn of events, the truth is revealed to Higgins that he, in fact, is innocent of any wrongdoing. The former sheriff then learns who is responsible and enlists the aid of an entire Indian tribe to capture the villain. (Echo Bridge Entertainment)

When you're falsely accused, it's quite a problem, but when you're convinced that you were the one who did the killing, it's quite a tricky situation because you don't even attempt to defend yourself. Thanks to the story, which at least somewhat differs and which made John Wayne let himself grow a bit, I quite liked and enjoyed this film.
