Wild Blue Yonder (S14E02)

Was it me, or was Isaac Newton hot? Pure joy of adventurous storytelling, theatrically precise acting full of the finest nuances and an unmistakable sense of tension when the viewer suddenly realizes that cosmic owls are not what they seem to be in a completely ordinary moment. Weaker tricks can be easily forgiven when I remember Tennant's era and the macabre body effects associated with his more terrifying episodes. Minimalistic piece and yet the essence of the series in one. (05/15/2024)
