English An unimaginative, mundane B-movie where the best acting performance is from a pack of dogs who you can’t help rooting for in their commendable efforts to eat the bothersome main characters. Even their barking contains more thought than the dialogs full of lines like “They were playing at being God!". The biggest problem is that it has not the slightest hint of atmosphere. If it were at least funny and the viewer weren’t just laughing at the expense of the creators, then this would have been just about acceptable. But not even this can be said of The Breed; this is simply ninety minutes of boredom. ()

English Natural horror that not even a dog would bark at because it already died during the character exposition. When Robin NotHood pulled back the bowstring and, in slow motion, narrowly missed the target growling next to his brother’s girlfriend’s calf, and a few minutes later, without losing his confidence, shot again and hit the window frame with a rope-tied arrow just half a meter from her head, unexpected dark comedic potential appeared. Instead of Breed, it would be called Bowstring, and the one playing at being the God Legolas would accidentally eliminate all his friends while the dumbfounded faces looked on. But the creators wanted it differently, so in the end, the lady meets her end at the hands of the bear, and the one who laughs last, laughs best. Best with bared teeth. ()
