This film is truly unique in that it is an adaptation of a comic strip that was being published here in Czechoslovakia at the time and had found its audience. There aren't many films like that in Czech history, and in recent times, the only one that comes to mind is Alois Nebel. Otherwise, this film is a fairly typical comedic farce that becomes quite tiresome towards the end.
