English Jet Li, who might be an even worse actor than Jackie Chan, tries to play a Yojimbo here. His rival, who is as flashy as Horatio Caine with his sunglasses, only manages to avoid getting the villains' eyes pierced with a toothpick because of his oral fixation. The action scenes are quite brutal, the music video-style editing barely justifies itself, and the genre clichés are slapped around by Yakuza triads from both sides. Perhaps that's why the creators threw in a shocking twist at the end, but it was as contrived as something Jason Statham lost long ago. ()

English I love this movie. It might be a bit long, but the combination of Statham and Li is simply excellent. Maybe we could have gotten a bit more of Jet. The final point is a bit weird, but it has the right B-movie style. There's not all that much action here, but I still grew to like the film. It’s good entertainment for me. ()

English A straightforward action flick that is about nothing more than shooting, kicking, punching, bleeding and dying for an hour and forty minutes, all performed by Jason Statham, Jet Li and dozens of future dead that these two gradually take down. It's not a deep film, it could have been shorter and less would-be surprising, but it's definitely watchable and the action scenes (there are not a lot, but in fact too many) are fine, thanks to the good music of the reliable Brian Tyler. English What the hell was that? Boring, almost no action, a twist which I admit had not expected at all, then an action scene which is short and almost criminally unexploited, an unexpected revelation and the end. The presence of two contemporary action icons and the attractive environment of San Francisco simply couldn’t hide the bad screenplay and pitiful direction. And I was sooo looking forward to this. :( ()
