A good actor sometimes attracts attention just by being in a movie, and sometimes by his excellent performance. Humphrey Bogart delivers such a performance in the film "High in the Mountains", where you believe him as both the mafia boss and the man who could theoretically have a heart. He is not a classic torn hero, but not far from it either. Sometimes it's simply circumstances that force us to do something we don't want. ()
