Jet Li returns in Part 6 of the "Once Upon a Time in China" series, with director Sammo Hung at the helm. This time, the legendary Master Wong and his beloved Auntie Yee visit the wild, wild west. Their trip is plagued with a series of hilarious pitfalls after Wong gets knocked on the head with a rock and loses his memory. Saved by a tribe of peaceful Indians, Wong becomes a Chinese-speaking, kung-fu "Indian" while Auntie Yee and the Po Chi Lam gang try to find their missing master. (official distributor synopsis)

The shift to America, specifically the wild west, really works, and even though the main character - thankfully played by Jet Li again - has to face memory loss, it's really good. There are some great scenes here, and there's a subtext of racial critique. This is simply a successful conclusion to the entire six-part series about Wong Fei Hung. ()
