English Can Yorkshire fairy tales about Little Red Riding Hoods, wolves, pigs, and wingless swans have a happy ending? Navigating the time shifts is tricky; anyone who hasn’t seen the previous episodes a few days ago won’t know what’s going on. The film is bogged down by unnecessary emphasis on trivial details, with a slow-motion rescue scene featuring a beam of light and floating feathers being a shot off target. From the climax of the trilogy, where the hands—sorry, cards—are supposed to be laid on the table, I expected a bit more directorial skill and screenwriting cleverness. The bell has tolled, and... where is the end of the North? ()
