English It is fascinating how twelve years after World War II, the Americans brought out a naval drama to the world, where on one side stands a destroyer and on the other side a submarine. What's more, it fascinated me how soon ideas opened up here, such as not every German agrees with what Hitler is doing at that time. Even though he fights for his homeland. Nice. Still very period. The action sequences look quite funny, but maybe even better are the crew of the German submarine, who are dressed as if they were getting ready to go to the beach. Otherwise, the essence of the film is the battle between two mentally strong guys and that's how it looks. A good piece. ()
