English It's great that old films are preserved for future generations. This is one of them. 42nd Street has a beautiful visual and sound design, which is absolutely crucial for a musical with a dramatic and romantically comedic story. Even today, this film looks beautiful. It's not a big spectacle, especially in terms of the plot, but that number during the finale is definitely worth it. I don't know why, but it almost musically captivates me more than modern musicals do. ()
