The creators decided to spice up this episode with almost no plot development, and I'm not impressed. The events crucial to the story’s progression could have easily fit into ten minutes. On the upside, rock climbing enthusiasts probably enjoyed this one, though Ygritte’s climb finale was laughably weak. At least Littlefinger’s monologue at the end was worth it.

An utterly pointless episode that, apart from the action-packed wall-climbing passage, doesn't really move any part of the story anywhere. It’s short, so you don’t have time to get bored, but a similar concept in a feature film would be unwatchable.
