Kate and Chloe have been best friends since childhood when they both tied for last place in their hometown beauty pageant. Now theyre pushing 30 and not quite where they thought theyd be Chloe works in a nightclub as a girl in a box and Kate is CEO of a onewoman egg-donor corporation. Their past humiliation remains long forgotten until they receive an invitation to attend the pageants anniversary celebration. So begins the hilarious road trip back to the past. At one point, I caught myself watching this film and being completely unable to process anything at all. Really nothing at all. It’s incredible how something can completely shut you down. That is not a compliment. Ass Backwards is utter nonsense, featuring two, with all due respect, complete idiots in the lead roles, who have only reached their age by sheer chance. Nasty characters that are impossible to watch or listen to. Never again, please! I’ve never seen anything like this before… otherwise, I’m afraid we’ll soon be attending the funeral of comedy.
