At the time, it must have been a truly groundbreaking film, because it was the one that truly started the era of famous and even more famous mafia movies. However, nowadays it is a bit exhausted, lacking tension, and all the action takes place only in the dialogues. That is a shame, because there are places here that deserve a little more attention. The idea of rise and fall is classic and good in any case. ()
