City of Fathers

More of a drama, the action only comes at the end, but I wasn't bored. The relationship between a gambling, alcohol-obsessed father and his son who is in acute need of a kidney transplant is beautifully portrayed. I definitely felt sorry for the son, his father is a cold and heartless bastard who has no regard for anyone. I expected more, it's such a typical Korean standard. 60%. (09/20/2014)
