Dirty Girl

Danielle, the high school tramp, is sent to special ed class for one too many inappropriate comments during sex education lessons. There she meets Clarke, a shy, gay fat kid with no friends. Forced together for a school project, they become unwilling and unfit parents to a bag of flour called "Joan." Danielle is determined to get to LA to find her birth father, Clarke is desperate to escape being sent to military school by his homophobic dad, so he steals his car. With Joan along for the ride, the dysfunctional little family sets off for California with no money, forcing Clarke into performing his Flashdance routine at a gay strip club for the prize money. Add a glorious 80's soundtrack and Dirty Girl is the most joyful treat since Muriel's Wedding or Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. (Cherry Sky Films)
