A perfect introduction to the comic book world for all those interested. The historical context, reasons why, how and where, including the most important comic book works. The only but relatively logical problem arises because this is a great celebration of everything produced by DC, but all of the rest is missing – I mean European comic books and Marvel.

Learning about the creation of a giant is indeed interesting, and here one truly learns a lot. True, in some parts, it's not all that secretive, but one must acknowledge that even the well-known facts are presented by people who understand them, remember them, and above all, mean something in the comic book industry. The old records with Frank Miller and Alan Moore are basically priceless.
