English An intense, striving and quite stifling B-movie that mixes the best elements of the crime/thriller genre. Throughout its running time, the film maintains a decent suspenseful pace that doesn't get boring, the protagonists are solid in character and acting, and as we near the end, we get some excellent themes of the main character's paranoia as she struggles with justice and revenge for her mother's death. I won't spoil any more, but in any case the film is definitely worth a watch, even though the description is very bland. The final minutes end the film with so much dignity and punch that I'll be thinking about it for quite a while. Smart, naturalistic and audience-friendly at the same time - a pretty good result for an outsider, I'd say. ()

English After all those Oscar-winning movies, I wanted to relax with a more classical American drama. The premise is great, the actors are good, but the execution isn’t as great. In the end, the movie is OK, but I don’t think I would watch it again. I, however, liked the psychological appeal of the movie, so in the end watching it definitely wasn’t time wasted. But calling this movie an action movie is a bit off the mark. ()
