English Unfortunately, the very promising and impressive atmosphere of the empty house in which there is “something," is replaced, sometime around the middle of the film, by surprisingly routine boredom, which gives up on any tension (a useless expedition to the cellar) and wanted to just scare the audience at this point, although in the most typical way. It’s nothing special, but also not terrible. And Olivia Cooke is fine. ()

English Ouija is another exemplary product of the modern horror scene. Just a quickly made horror film that gets a lot of talk but doesn't have much to say. The plot is so bad it hurts to watch, not to mention that every scene is basically a cliché, and you'll constantly feel like you're watching something where the creators didn't even try to use a bit of invention because they were literally afraid of it. This is just a bad horror film, of which there are many these days. ()
