Season six of Homeland is shaping up to be a major letdown for me. The spy intrigue I love has taken a backseat, replaced with the creators lecturing about secret services abusing their power to infringe on human rights. I get it, we know this already. It feels completely unnecessary. I’m giving it a bit more time, but if Carrie heads off to Tibet in search of enlightenment, I’m out.
