To film a classic play just for the sake of filming it again in 2013 is quite sad. Occasionally, there's an actor who was interestingly chosen, but the direction is completely superficial and half-hearted. It's as if the creators said to themselves, "This is a classic, it will film itself." Hailee didn't appeal to me at all in this, and Romeo isn't an interesting character either. This movie doesn't give us anything extra. I'd rather see it in the theater than in this form, without any impact on the audience and without emotions.
